“We’ve had difficulty finding a reliable and consistent cleaning service for our art fabrication studio and have switched cleaners several times. We’ve worked with Blu Commercial Cleaning for over a year now to help us keep our our art fabrication studio clean on a bi-weekly basis. Since our work can be messy and dusty we know it’s a cleaning challenge but the team does the best they can to keep up with our studio.
They are best at cleaning areas of the studio that are admin heavy with desks and less dust in general. The fabrication side, however, is tougher to keep as clean as we would like. And we know that is mostly due to the nature of our work but we appreciate their efforts.
They have great communication that checks in after every appointment to provide photo updates and ask for feedback – which is greatly appreciated.”

From Humble Beginnings
It was at this time that thoughts of cleaning emerged. Not your average thought of cleaning as a chore….but something BIGGER! It all began with two team members, a personal vehicle, a handful of cleaning supplies, and of course the home staple of a small business….a garage!

2013
Blu Commercial Cleaning becomes REAL
At this point, Blu Commercial Cleaning was finally incorporated! We only focused on Janitorial Services during this time, but we were hungry for more.

2014
Floor Care Services Added
It’s a new year! This also meant new services offered from the Blu Crew. We added carpet cleaning and floor care services to our service bag of goodies!

2015
Blu joins Goldman Sachs 10KSB !
Even though we were small, we were still mighty! We were accepted into the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses program in the city of Chicago. Chi-town represent!

2016
Certified FRESH
Oh boy! Our certifications list began to grow even more. We finally became an ISSA member and IICRC certified.

2017
Code Blu Restoration is Born
As word reached out about our business, we had many internal growth spurts! We decided to create our sister company : Code Blu Restoration. We could now restore water, fire, and mold damages. Cleaning can take on many forms!

Putting the Power in Power Washing....and other services!
Seven years later, we expanded our services to outdoor power washing and odor mitigation services. Each year, our team learns a new skill to better meet our customers’ needs. You can never stop learning!
