What is #CleaningThatCares ?
#CleaningThatCares is Blu Commercial Cleaning’s Social Mission to change the lives of those in the Cleaning Industry. We want to remove the negative stigma on cleaners, give our employees opportunities in professional & personal development, along with assisting our local community to lead life with cleanliness in mind. It may seem like a daunting task, however we are not afraid of challenges here at Blu! We can make the world a cleaner place. One step at a time.

Steps We Have Taken
Community
We always want to give back to the community who helped foster the growth of our business! Recently, the Blu Crew has been teaming up with Albany Park Community Center on several events such as Career Day, the Volta Mentorship Program, and sponsoring their Rooftop on the River fundraiser in 2018.
Donations
Blu understands that opportunities can be built with funds. That’s why we have strived to offer not only cleaning supply donations, but also monetary donations for those in need. Our donations have assisted Marine Leadership Academy’s robotics team and Paws Chicago as of recent. We can’t wait to continue our efforts in helping others!
Empowering Our Staff
We empower our staff to take on new tasks, to be curious, and to do their best. Blu has created an internal upward mobility initiative so that our staff has the opportunity to achieve their dreams. Giving them the power has made Blu a new experience within the cleaning industry!
Educating Our Peers
There has been an issue in this industry where cleaning is undervalued. Blu has been working hard on educating a wide range of people on what cleaning truly entails….which is a lot! We help teach others about the equipment, the chemistry, and technological advancements within cleaning. There is a value to cleaning and to those who work in this field.
Advocating Small Business Growth
The Blu Crew had the opportunity to head to Capitol Hill & advocate for small businesses! We advised representatives and congressmen to hear our voices in regards to funding, red tape, and even resources for getting licensed & certifications. We championed everything to help small businesses survive in the current competitive climate.
